Simulation Developer - London based

Our client Decision Lab is looking for a Simulation Developer to join their team based in London.

Job specifications:

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Job Role: Permanent Simulation Developer
  • Location: Vauxhall, London
  • Remote Working Salary: £27,500
  • £50,000 per annum + benefits

The ideal candidate will be required to:

  • Work in close collaboration with clients to understand their problem, and turn it into a technical solution
  • Design simulation modelling approaches, including Agent-Based models, Discrete-Event models, and System Dynamics models, and combinations of these
  • Implement, test, and deploy simulation models using a combination of commercial simulation software (most likely AnyLogic) and object-orientated programming
  • Write readable, reusable, and tested code, and following the company’s development processes
  • Take an active role in the wider knowledge-sharing that happens across the company and keeping yourself and your team up to date on the newest emerging tools and trends across simulation
